Terms and Conditions
Effective October 10, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Alhassane Balde, an individual developer based in New York, United States, who publishes TimeLens ("we", "us"). They cover your use of the TimeLens app and timelensapp.pages.dev. By creating an account or using TimeLens, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use TimeLens.
1. Who can use TimeLens
You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian to agree to these terms for you.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for what happens in your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has accessed it. Give accurate information when you sign up.
3. Your license to use the app
TimeLens is licensed to you, not sold. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA", at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula) applies to your use of the app, and these terms add to it. If they conflict about the license, the Standard EULA wins. You may use TimeLens for your own personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control.
4. Subscriptions and free trials
- TimeLens requires a paid subscription. Plans and prices are shown in the app and the App Store before you buy, in your local currency, and may vary by country.
- Purchases are made through your Apple Account and processed by Apple. We never receive your payment details.
- If a free trial is offered, it's available once per Apple Account. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you're charged.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If we ever raise the price, Apple will tell you beforehand and, where required, ask for your agreement.
- You can cancel at any time in iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or in the App Store. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Deleting the app or your TimeLens account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it with Apple.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. See our Refund Policy.
5. Your content
The sessions, commitments, notes and other content you create are yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to run TimeLens for you (for example, syncing it across your devices). Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it. Don't put anything in TimeLens that you don't have the right to use.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse TimeLens. For example, don't break the law with it, try to access other people's accounts or data, interfere with or overload our systems, reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it, or use automated means to access our services.
7. Reminders and estimates are aids, not guarantees
TimeLens helps you plan, but it can't guarantee you'll be on time. Reminders may be late or may not appear (for example, if notifications are off, a Focus is on, or your device is off or out of battery). Travel times come from Apple Maps and are estimates. Countdowns, scores and Insights depend on what you enter. You stay responsible for your schedule. Don't rely on TimeLens alone where being late or missing something could cause harm, such as medical appointments, medication, travel or legal deadlines.
8. Not medical advice
TimeLens is a time-awareness and productivity tool. It is designed with ADHD and time blindness in mind, but it is not a medical device, and it doesn't diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition or replace professional care. Talk to a qualified professional about your health.
9. Changes and availability
We may update TimeLens, add or remove features, or change these terms. If a change to these terms is significant, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using TimeLens after that, the new terms apply. We work to keep TimeLens available, but it may sometimes be unavailable, for example for maintenance or because of problems with our providers.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using TimeLens and delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or if the law requires it. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first. Sections 5 to 8 and 11 to 13 still apply after your use ends.
11. Disclaimer
To the extent the law allows, TimeLens is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your needs. Some places don't allow these exclusions, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived by agreement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of TimeLens. Our total liability for any claim relating to TimeLens is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for TimeLens in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50. These limits don't apply to liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Any dispute that isn't resolved will be decided by the state or federal courts located in New York, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. If you're a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another country that gives you the right to bring a claim where you live, or the benefit of your local law's mandatory protections, nothing here takes those rights away.
14. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for TimeLens or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for handling claims about it, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims. If TimeLens doesn't conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you're not in a country under a US government embargo and not on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
15. Other
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a part right away, we haven't given up the right to do so later. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them as part of a transfer of TimeLens. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy and Apple's Standard EULA, are the whole agreement between you and us about TimeLens.
